how do i make a booking for an event

You can enquire through our website to make a booking. Bookings will be confirmed upon payment, which can be done through bank transfer or a link generated via our online ticketing portal Eventsmart.

how much is it to make a booking

how long in advance do i have to book

Please book at least 1 month in advance so we have suffcient notice to allocate our resources for the event.

what is the minimum number of people for a booking

Minimum total of 10 guests on 2 boats will be required for a booking. If you have less than 10 guests, you may consider sailing our smaller boats at the National Sailing Centre or Raffles Marina.

how many people can one boat hold what is the maximimum number of people for a booking

Maximum capacity per boat is capped at 7 guests, and we have 6 SM40 boats in the bay. Total maximum capacity for a session will be 42 people.

what is the address and where is the nearest drop-off point

Our pontoon is located just beside Customs House. 70 Collyer Quay, Singapore 049322 Nearest drop-off point / carpark: OUE Bayfront You will be able to see the sailboat masts towering high upon arriving.

are we able to reschedule the booking

Should you wish to make amendments to the programme arrangements, please notify us in writing. Any rescheduling will be subjected to the availability of resources within the agreed cost.

what happens if it rains

In the interest of participants’ safety and well-being, we reserve the right to delay or reschedule any programme prior to commencement of the sailing session due to inclement weather or any unforeseen circumstances. For any changes to the weather, the session might be halted or paused, and may resume if the weather permits. Our programme coordinator will be actively communicating with you in the event of inclement weather conditions PRIOR to the event start time. In the event of a complete cancellation, rescheduled programmes will be planned within three (3) months from the original programme date.

what do we do if we want to cancel the booking

You cancel the booking at any time by writing to us. The amount due is calculated on the day we receive your written notice of cancellation, subject to a processing fee based on the period of notice given. This fee reflects only the cost of administering a reservation and is not intended to be punitive in any way.

• 15 – 30 days prior to programme: 20% of programme quotation
• 14 days or less prior to programme: 100% of programme quotation

The programme price is quoted as a package. No partial refunds or credit will be given for services not used. In the instance where the cancellation charges are stricter by additional third party service providers (e.g. meals at restaurant), we reserve the right to impose those charges. The amount forfeited which has not been paid to SingaporeSailing by you, may be recovered from you by SingaporeSailing as a debt due and payable.

what kind of attire should i wear

You are recommended to wear a quick dry top, comfortable slacks /berms, with active shoes or sandals, and sun protection (ie. cap / sunblock).

where can i keep my belongings

We have a box on the pontoon to store your belongings. We’d like to advise you to pack light due to the limited space in the box.
