Max Maeder hit the sailing headlines again!!! After winning Gold in the Asian Games, Max had to make his way to Austria for the start of the European World Series. From Austria to Italy, Max Maeder weaved his magic winning wand again !!! Max won the Italian Series at Sardinia in the Medal Race yesterday.
The knockout race format was used for the Medal Race and with light winds, Max did well to maintain the top podium once again.
From Lake Traunsee to Sardinia, it was reported that the riders came through very different challenges, and in late November, a third one awaits when the circuit moves next month where the 2023 Champions will be crowned at Kitefoil World Series in Zhuhai, China. Well done Max !!! And hope you will get a hat-trick come November.
